A graduate of Bastrop High School and a retired truck driver, Floyd has spent his life in service to others and is deeply committed to ensuring that the cemetery receives the necessary funding for its restoration. His extensive experience in managing finances and overseeing operations equips him to maintain the integrity and transparency of the Board's financial activities.
Floyd’s personal connection to Whispering Pines is profound, as many of his family members are buried there. The realization that he could not access the cemetery to pay his respects ignited a passionate desire to help restore it. Through his role as Treasurer, Floyd aims to inspire others to contribute to this important cause, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility within the community to honor those who have come before them.
